Doctor Who: A Few Thoughts on 'The Last Day'

I wrote this for Den of Geek. Said thoughts do not include my feelings on the mini-episode being available for free in America.

Poets on a Bus

Having exhausted every other possible option, Edinburgh spoken word group Inky Fingers have teamed up with Lothian Buses to organise 'Poets on a Bus' - featuring me, Max Scratchmann, Nicole Strachan and J.A. Sutherland. On Thursday the 21st, from 10am, the historical bus tours leaving hourly from Hanover Street will have two poets on board, who will then read poetry inspired by the city of Edinburgh/troll tourists about Sir Walter Scott.

Ticket prices are on the Edinburgh Bus Tour website.

Josie Long: Romance and Adventure

I interviewed Josie Long about her short films: Let's Go Swimming and Romance and Adventure.

Having now seen both, I can confirm that you definitely should see if the tour comes anywhere near you. If you're lucky she might do her impression of George Orwell.

For the next seven days you can download the last episode of Newsjack if you like. The best bit is when someone pretends to be Eddie Izzard. I didn't write that bit. No, it doesn't say a lot.
