The Grind: Remnants

A couple of my poems have been published in a limited edition hardcopy of The Grind journal, Remnants, which you can buy here.

You can also buy tickets to their Away Game event in Edinburgh on Thursday January 15th. All profits go to support food banks.

Poets Against Humanity #1

Poets Against Humanity took place on November 27th 2014 at the Banshee Labyrinth, and featured Rachel McCrum, Marianne MacRae and Kevin Mclean (with support from Jimmy Jazz, Suky Goodfellow, Russell Jones and Doug Garry). The next show will be on Wednesday January 14th at the same venue.

Knife Whimsy Banner

Chutney Exhibition and the PBH Fringe are reticently proud to present KNIFE WHIMSY, a spoken word show featuring Andrew Blair and Ross McCleary.

As poets, writers and performers on the Edinburgh scene, between them they have contributed to New Writing Dundee, Story Shop, Illicit Ink and Valve. Their work has been described thusly:

'An amusing mix of deadpan performance and nervous energy' - AllEdinburghTheatre.com
'An awkward stage presence perfectly in tune with the comedic character' - The Herald.
'Whimsical as promised...well-timed.' - Nicole Loves Art.

KNIFE WHIMSY is on at George Next Door (Space 3) (9 George IV Bridge, EH1 1EE) from the 2nd to the 16th of August at 9.05pm.

Every show will feature a ten minute guest slot from another performer. The current running order (potentially subject to change) is as follows:

Den of Geek: Some Thoughts on the Star Wars Casting

I was asked to write a reaction piece to the Episode VII casting news, and I did, although my editor did cut the line 'justified by seeing Oscar Isaac's nipple for 1/8th of a second' and I can't imagine why.
